Sales Operations Associate

Established in 1945, u&i Search is a renowned family-run business with an impressive portfolio of fashion accessories and giftware sold to high-street retailers and private label customers. As a Sales Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the sales department's day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out general sales administration tasks, including order processing, to ensure seamless workflow
- Resolve post-delivery invoice queries and debit/credit notes efficiently
- Collaborate with the accounts team to address overdue payments
- Process new sales leads by assigning customers to agents and handling website applications
- Assign customers to the correct region and agent on the system
- Update weekly stock sold-out lists and forward them to agents and the sales office
- BUILD AND MAINTAIN STRONG CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIPS THROUGH TELEPHONE, EMAIL, AND FACE-TO-FACE INTERACTIONS
- Provide exceptional customer service, exceeding expectations through personalized communication
- E nsure all administrative aspects are prepared for key trading events like Christmas, Father's Day, and Mother's Day
- Supply data and reports to support the Head of Sales, Sales Executive, and Senior Sales Coordinator
- Share feedback from agents and customers to inform product reviews, stock issues, and non-sales related concerns
- Offer troubleshooting assistance for customer orders, account statuses, and relevant problems
- Assist with preparation and attend tradeshows as required
Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience in sales or office environments
- Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Familiarity with sales order processing systems (training provided if necessary)
- A friendly, confident approach when dealing with customers via phone and face-to-face interactions
- Excellent attention to detail
- Able to work independently and proactively
- A team player with a positive can-do attitude
- Must reside within a reasonable commuting distance and possess a valid driver's license
