Job Summary
Hays Specialist Recruitment is seeking an experienced Behaviour Improvement Lead to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of our school's behaviour policy, working closely with students, staff, and parents to promote positive behaviour and academic success. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a significant impact on our school community and develop your skills in leadership and behaviour management.

Responsibilities
Lead and manage the school's behaviour policy and strategy,
Develop initiatives to promote positive behaviour and attendance,
Support the Headteacher in maintaining high standards of student behaviour and discipline,
Pastoral care system oversight,
Staff development and training,
Student support,
Liaise with external agencies and stakeholders,
Promote a culture of respect, responsibility, and resilience amongst students,
Strong relationships with parents and carers,
Organise and participate in school events and activities that promote positive behaviour,

Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree,
Proven experience in a senior leadership role within a secondary school,
A strong track record in managing student behaviour and pastoral care,
Excellent understanding of current educational policies and practices related to behaviour management,
Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills,
Ability to inspire and motivate students and staff,
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities,
Excellent communication and organisational skills,
Commitment to promoting a positive and inclusive school culture,

Salary Information
This role offers a competitive salary of approximately £70,000 - £90,000 per annum, based on the location and industry standards.
