About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Administrator to join our Ashford & Canterbury Community Mental Health Admin Team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a dynamic and forward-thinking team, providing administrative support to our Mental Health Together team.

The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, a professional telephone manner, and strong organisational and keyboard skills.

They will also have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages and be able to remain calm and professional when dealing with difficult situations.

Main Responsibilities

  • Take and screen phone calls and manage the admin mailbox.
  • Minute meetings and maintain accurate records.
  • Use the patient record system RIO (training provided) to manage patient information.
  • Regular patient contact by phone/text to arrange appointments and other tasks.
  • Perform other administrative tasks as required.

Person Specification

Essential

  • Maths and English grade C or above.
  • NVQ Level 3 Business Administration or equivalent.

Desirable

  • Experience of working within the NHS.
  • Minimum 2 years administration experience.
  • Experience of Patient Management systems, preferably RiO.
