About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Executive to join our Business Development team at TLT LLP. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth and identifying new opportunities for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales Enablement
    • Support the creation and progression of sales pipelines for targeting new clients and identifying opportunities to cross-sell services to existing clients.
    • Work on a variety of sub-sector and team business development and client plans and attend team meetings to progress these.
    • Produce credentials documents, proposals, and pitch presentations to support winning new business.
    • Assist in the launch to market of new services and solutions.
    • Support our central Bids team on formal bid opportunities, including maintaining a library of precedent text for bids through our pitch management system.
  • Communications and Events
    • Assist with marketing communications, including sector reports, e-marketing updates, social media, and website content, legal directory, and award submissions.
    • Work with the team on the development of marketing campaigns.
    • Create and manage internal communications materials, including regular newsletters, intranet articles, and sector reports.
    • Assist in the running of sector and legal services events (virtual, in-person, and hybrid), hosted events, corporate hospitality, and internal events, and attend to support as and when required.
    • Responsibilities include all aspects of event management, such as mailing list creation, design of invitations and program, development of marketing materials and presentations, liaison with suppliers and speakers, event reporting, and follow-up.
    • Work closely with industry bodies to develop our relationships, sponsorship opportunities, and on events and other activities.
    • Support the development and delivery of thought-leadership campaigns.
    • Produce videos, podcasts, and other forms of digital content.
    • Work with our Press Office to identify opportunities and capitalize on PR opportunities.
    • Manage the budget/costs and payments to external suppliers associated with marketing activity.
    Requirements
    • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills - gains respect and credibility quickly.
    • Enthusiastic, confident, proactive, and robust.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills.
    • Able to work well under pressure and drive projects to completion.
    • Good copywriting, editing, and proof-reading skills, with strong attention to detail.
    • Experience of using BD/marketing technologies (e.g., CRM systems, email marketing platforms, webinar services, and website/intranet content management systems) would be advantageous but is not essential.
    • Ability to assimilate information quickly and a keen interest in developing your knowledge of TLT, the legal sector, and the clients that we support.
