About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Senior Station Technician at Hartlepool Lifeboat Station. As a key member of our station team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our lifeboat and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain the lifeboat and associated equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Conduct regular inspections and maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failure and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with other station staff to develop and implement effective station operations and maintenance procedures.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to other team members as required.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a maritime or emergency services environment.
  • Strong technical knowledge and skills, including mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces, with a willingness to participate in training and development activities.
