Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Station Technician to join our team at Hartlepool Lifeboat Station. As a key member of our station team, you will be responsible for ensuring the maintenance and operation of our lifeboats, as well as providing technical support to our volunteer crew.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the maintenance and repair of lifeboats and associated equipment
  • Provide technical support to volunteer crew members
  • Develop and implement quality, safety, and health procedures
  • Collaborate with other station staff to ensure effective station operations

Requirements

  • Relevant experience in marine diesel engineering or a related field
  • Leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Valid driving license and ability to respond to emergencies 24/7
