As a business-backed company with ambitious plans, we're seeking a highly skilled and organized Business Finance Coordinator to join our Finance team in Widnes.
This role will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation of our Accounts Payable function, working closely with various teams to maintain accurate and timely payment processes.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Authorise and process supplier invoices accurately and promptly
- Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies
- Manage supplier enquiries and respond to queries in a professional and timely manner
- Participate in the filing and maintenance of purchase ledgers
- Assist with the preparation and processing of weekly payment runs
- Perform monthly reconciliations of supplier statements and resolve any issues
- Resolve debit balances on vendor accounts and deal with supplier queries
- Contribute to the development of efficient payment processes and procedures
