We are seeking an ambitious and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our London-based team at Port Technology International (PTI). As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving business growth through effective sales strategies and building strong relationships with international clients.

With a minimum of 2-4 years' experience in a B2B sales environment, preferably in the maritime, transport or technology sector, you will possess a strong understanding of digital sales packages and be able to thrive in a target-oriented environment.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of generating new business opportunities, managing client accounts, and meeting revenue targets. They will also possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced team environment.

As a valued member of our team, you will enjoy a competitive annual salary of £60,000 - £80,000 depending on experience, plus uncapped commission and achievable event bonuses. Main responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive business growth and meet revenue targets.
  • Customer Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with international clients, identifying their needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • New Business Generation: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, utilizing market research and lead generation techniques.
  • Client Account Management: Manage client accounts, ensuring timely delivery of agreed-upon services and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Degree or equivalent qualification/experience
  • Minimum 2-4 years' experience in B2B sales, preferably in the maritime, transport or technology sector
  • Strong understanding of digital sales packages
  • Proven track record of generating new business opportunities and meeting revenue targets
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
