Mount Green Housing Association is seeking a highly skilled Surveying Manager to lead and manage a team of surveyors, delivering a comprehensive service to tenants and leaseholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the surveying function, ensuring effective resource planning and allocation.
- Provide resident-centric professional building surveyor activities, defect diagnosis, and specify remedial works.
- Act as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, providing high levels of technical support to the team.
- Have a strong knowledge of social housing repairs and maintenance, construction methods, and building regulations.
- Experience of leading teams, planning work schedules, and deploying resources.
- Strong knowledge and experience of landlord responsibilities, construction, and housing health and safety.
- Financial awareness and/or budget management experience.
- Excellent communication, customer service, influencing, and engagement skills.
- Ability to analyze data and market trends, with excellent IT and data analytical skills.
Requirements:
- Access to a vehicle insured for business purposes, with a full UK driving license.
- Ability to work as part of an out-of-hours response team on a rota basis.
