Maintenance Manager

Mount Green Housing Association is seeking a highly skilled Surveying Manager to lead and manage a team of surveyors, delivering a comprehensive service to tenants and leaseholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the surveying function, ensuring effective resource planning and allocation to deliver programmes effectively.
- Provide resident-centric professional building surveyor activities, defect diagnosis, and specify remedial works.
- Act as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders and provide high levels of technical support to the team.
- Lead teams, plan work schedules, and deploy appropriate resources.
- Have a strong knowledge of social housing repairs and maintenance, construction methods, and building regulations.
- Have experience of landlord responsibilities, construction, and housing health and safety.
- Have financial awareness and/or budget management experience.
- Excellent communication, customer service, influencing, and engagement skills, with the ability to be resilient when required.
- Excellent IT and data analytical skills, including the ability to analyze data and market trends.
Requirements:
- Appropriate surveying qualifications or relevant qualification in line with the progression framework.
- Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle insured for business purposes.
- Ability to work on a rota-basis as part of the out-of-hours 'response' team.
