Key Responsibilities:
  • Secure top talent worldwide, owning the coordination of international bookings.
  • Work alongside other bookers to source options and bookings for all talent required for ASOS in-house shoots.
  • Problem-solve when necessary to help all studios achieve shoot targets.
  • Establish a creative ability to understand ASOS's model families and their aesthetic for guys and girls.
  • Be the first to spot any dips in model quality and confident in flagging any model issues on the day that could compromise the shoot.
  • Contribute to the evolving ASOS talent brief, keeping up to date with the diverse ASOS customer and ensuring they always feel represented across all category pages.
  • Manage direct reports at both a core and junior model booker level, training new starters and being a key voice at the desk to help the wider team with any questions.
  • Run weekly 1-1s and performance reviews with any direct reports, providing daily support, honest feedback, and positive recognition.
  • Develop your leadership style and communication in line with ASOS Behaviours policy.
  • Take ownership of models you have booked, working alongside the studio team to maximize each model's potential and ensure consistency over time.
  • Deal with any model issues professionally and in line with ASOS Behaviours policy.
  • Nurture existing relationships with international model agencies as well as establish new ones when required, ensuring our first-class reputation is maintained and that all suppliers operate in-line with our standards.
  • Secure talent as 'ASOS models', working with agencies to ensure successful models are readily available to us across multiple platforms.
  • Work with the model team and wider department to ensure budget, cost per product, creative quality, and volumetric KPIs are adhered to.
  • Strong awareness of model analysis, making use of this information to make informed casting decisions.
  • Demonstrate excellent brand awareness by identifying areas for review, researching ideas, and assessing competition when required to ensure we are market leaders.
  • Encourage the team to be authentic, brave, and creative and to follow all company and departmental strategies, leading by example.
  • Deliver projects to support the department strategy and any other ad-hoc tasks defined by the Model Team Lead and Manager.
  • Contribute to departmental technology software and hardware launches when required.
  • A good understanding of shoot production in a commercial environment.
  • Skills in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, In Design, and in the general day-to-day running of a PC and/or MAC.
