Overview

SUMO Talent is a leading talent representation agency seeking an experienced Scripted Associate Agent to join their team.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will have a keen understanding of the Film, TV, and Theatre industries, along with familiarity with industry-standard platforms such as Spotlight and Tagmin.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage a portfolio of talent within the Film, TV, and Theatre sectors.
  • Collaborate with senior agents to identify and pursue career opportunities for clients.
  • Be involved with script reading, reports & breakdowns.
  • Liaise with casting directors, producers, and other industry contacts to promote talent and secure auditions and bookings.
  • Utilize Spotlight and Tagmin platforms to showcase talent profiles and submit actors for relevant roles.
  • Coordinate audition schedules, callbacks, and bookings for clients.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements on behalf of clients, ensuring favourable terms and conditions.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must have:

Main Requirements:
  • 2 years experience in an assistant agent role.
  • Previous experience working in talent representation, casting, or a related area within the entertainment industry.
  • Strong understanding of the Film, TV, and Theatre industries, including casting processes and industry protocols.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard platforms such as Spotlight and Tagmin.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and industry contacts.
Salary

The estimated salary for this role is £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
