Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Registered Manager to lead our Residential Service for children and young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality residential services that meet the needs of young people and their families.
  • Ensure compliance with legislative and regulatory requirements, including The Children's Homes Regulations and Quality Standards 2015.
  • Develop and implement effective care plans that promote the best outcomes for young people.
  • Lead and manage a team of staff to ensure they work effectively with young people, families, and internal and partner agencies.
  • Take overall responsibility for the day-to-day operation and management of an OFSTED-regulated Children's Home.
  • Ensure the highest standards of emotional, social, and physical care for young people.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in managing residential services for young people.
  • Hold a relevant management qualification, such as RMA/NVQ 4 in Leadership and Management or ILM Level 5.
  • Excellent knowledge of children's homes national minimum standards and the Children's Act 2010.
  • Ability to cope with emotionally challenging situations and act calmly under pressure.
