Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Registered Manager to lead our Residential Service for children and young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the Residential Service, ensuring compliance with legislative and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and deliver high-quality residential services to young people and their families, promoting the best possible outcomes.
  • Lead and manage a team of staff, ensuring effective collaboration with young people, families, and internal and external agencies.
  • Take overall responsibility for regulatory requirements associated with Ofsted registration and the home's Statement of Purpose.
  • Ensure the highest standards of emotional, social, and physical care for young people, promoting research, development, and partnership to formulate and monitor placement and care planning.

Requirements:

  • Proven management experience in young people's residential services.
  • Completion of the RMA/NVQ 4 in Leadership and Management or willingness to commence within 3 months of starting.
  • Excellent working knowledge of children's homes national minimum standards and the Children's Act 2010.
  • Ability to cope with emotionally challenging situations and act calmly under pressure.
