About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fleet & Maintenance Shift Supervisor to join our team at Royal Mail Group. As a key member of our workshop operations team, you will be responsible for leading a team of vehicle technicians and ensuring the smooth operation of our fleet maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of vehicle technicians to ensure the efficient and effective maintenance of our fleet
  • Develop and implement maintenance plans to ensure the optimal performance of our vehicles
  • Monitor and control workshop operations to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination
  • Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a fleet maintenance or workshop operations environment
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions to drive business outcomes
  • Knowledge of safety and quality standards, with the ability to ensure compliance
