Autism Support Specialist

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at the Kent Autistic Trust. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to adults with autism and complex needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support individuals with daily living tasks, such as personal care and hygiene
- Assist with medication administration and household management
- Encourage independence and participation in activities, such as bike rides and shopping
- Work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure a high-quality service
- Uphold the dignity and confidentiality of individuals
Requirements:
- Manual driving license (essential)
- Experience working with adults with autism and complex needs (desirable)
- Ability to think on your feet and problem-solve
- Commitment to continuous personal development and learning
