Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Carer Support Specialist to join our team at Sanctuary Personnel Ltd. The successful candidate will work full-time in Medway, providing vital support to Children's Social Care Service delivery.

The estimated salary for this role is £40,000 - £45,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage caseloads with supervision, working closely with Special Guardians, connected carers, and children.
  • Assess support needs and provide tailored assistance, making applications for specialist therapeutic support as required.
  • Implement and evaluate safeguarding measures to ensure children reach their full potential.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments for connected carers, including Special Guardianship, Viability, and Connected Carers assessments.
  • Prepare and submit reports to Court or Fostering Panel as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records, adhering to legislative requirements.
  • Coordinate and lead multi-professional groups and meetings.

Requirements:

  • A Social Work Qualification or equivalent.
  • In-depth understanding of relevant legislation.
  • Registered or eligible for registration with the relevant authority.
