Connected Caseworker

Role Overview:

Sanctuary Personnel Ltd is recruiting for a skilled Connected Caseworker to work full-time in Medway, supporting the Children's Social Care Service delivery. The ideal candidate will possess excellent assessment and implementation skills, with a strong understanding of safeguarding principles.

The estimated salary for this role is £44,000 - £50,000 per annum, based on experience.

Key Accountabilities:

• Manage caseloads with close supervision, working collaboratively with Special Guardians, connected carers, and children.
• Evaluate support needs and develop individualized plans, making applications for specialist therapeutic support when necessary.
• Design and implement robust safeguarding measures to ensure children reach their full potential.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments for connected carers, encompassing Special Guardianship, Viability, and Connected Carers evaluations.
• Prepare and submit reports to Court or Fostering Panel as required.
• Maintain precise and timely records, adhering to legislative standards.
• Facilitate and coordinate multi-disciplinary groups and meetings.

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

• A Social Work Qualification or equivalent.
• Deep understanding of relevant legislation.
• Registration or eligibility for registration with the relevant authority.
