About the Role:

The Team Leader is responsible for ensuring a high standard of person-centered care is maintained. They work hands-on alongside their team, providing guidance and support, helping them to develop in their roles and supporting a positive working culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct supervision, coaching, and mentoring to support staff
  • Manage finances relating to the service
  • Establish and maintain effective communication with families and relevant others
  • Support individuals within the community in activities such as bike rides, long walks & shopping
  • Ensuring written records are correctly maintained
  • Administering medication
  • Uphold privacy, confidentiality, and dignity
  • Assisting individuals with personal care and hygiene
  • Household management tasks, cooking, cleaning, etc.

Person Specification:

The ideal candidate will have 2 years experience providing care/support in a care/support setting. A manual license is required for driving a mobility car or service vehicle.

Training and Development:

We provide a range of training opportunities, including the Care Certificate, Company Induction, KAT Foundation Training Award, Specialist Pathway Training, and Health and Safety and Compliance Training.
