Administrative Support Specialist for Education

Job Overview:
The British Psychotherapy Foundation is seeking an experienced administrative professional to join our team as a Training and Events Coordinator. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you will be responsible for coordinating training events, managing administration, and providing excellent support to our team.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate training events, ensuring their smooth execution and meeting the required standards.
- Develop and implement effective administrative procedures to ensure efficiency and accuracy in record-keeping and data management.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with colleagues, external partners, and stakeholders, ensuring excellent communication and collaboration.
- Process payments from trainees and to teachers and tutors, maintaining accurate financial records and managing budgets.
- Attend and minute core staff meetings, preparing agendas and supporting the director in strategic decision-making.
- Support the marketing team in promoting training activities through regular events, advertising campaigns, and individual interactions.
- Liaise with the clinical services department and placement tutor to gather information about trainees' clinical work, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to data protection policies.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
We are looking for an individual with a good level of general education, including a standard pass or above in both Mathematics and English at GCSE level, two A levels or a vocational qualification at level three, or equivalent learning through work experience.
Salary and Benefits:
The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of £18,270 per annum (£30,450 fte), 30 days annual leave (pro-rated 18 days), pension scheme, and a supportive working environment.
