About the Job

We are looking for a highly organised Administrative Support Specialist to join our team at Remedy Education. This role involves providing administrative support to our school office and ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Coordinate and supervise the work of office staff to ensure the school office runs smoothly.
  2. Liaise with the line manager regarding work to be undertaken by the office.
  3. Assist with monitoring the induction of new members of the office staff.
  4. Organise the administration of new student admissions and assist the Headteacher in arranging parental interviews and appeals.
  5. Organise the administration of staff recruitment and assist the Headteacher in arranging interviews, meetings, and appeals.
  6. Provide administrative support in organising safety procedures, including fire drills.
  7. Oversee the general administration of school dinners.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Maintain accurate records of pupil attendance and absences.
  • Provide administrative support with various information databases.
  • Keep accurate records of staff absences and holiday entitlements.
Financial Information
  • Accounting procedures for school journey accounts and dinner monies.
  • Raising purchase orders and processing via the school's financial management software.
Salary Estimate

£32,000 - £42,000 per annum
