Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Team Leader to join our team at the Devon Partnership NHS Trust. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and dedicated individual to play a key role in ensuring the highest quality of care for our patients.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the management of temporary staffing, bed management, and providing supervision to Band 6 repatriation officers. A key aspect of this role will be to ensure that all aspects of patient care are met, while maintaining a positive and supportive work environment.

Main Responsibilities
  • Staff Management: The Clinical Team Leader will support the management of temporary staffing, including bank and agency staff, to ensure that there are sufficient resources to meet the needs of patients.
  • Bed Management: The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the bed management process across all adult and older persons inpatient units, including Out of Area beds when required.
  • Supervision: The Clinical Team Leader will provide relevant supervision and guidance to Band 6 repatriation officers, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to carry out their duties effectively.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will have experience of working at a management level, with operational management/ward management experience. They will also have training to level 3 in Safeguarding Adults: roles and competencies for Health Care staff, and be registered with the NMC or Professional Body. Additionally, they will have project management knowledge to masters level or equivalent, and a postgraduate qualification relevant to the specialism.
