Key Responsibilities

The Business and Contract Performance Director at Goodstuff Communications is responsible for leading a team and driving excellence in strategy, planning, and client management. They create the optimum conditions to achieve shared business, team, and client goals and objectives through effective leadership.

Key areas of focus include:

  • Setting the tone and pace for the team through effective, flexible situational leadership
  • Skilfully delegating and focusing efforts on areas that will deliver most business impact
  • Motivating and galvanising a team towards shared objectives
  • Facilitating effective and productive team meetings, appraisals, and 1:1s
  • Championing 'Frequent Fearless Feedback', creating opportunities for two-way feedback to be given
  • Setting direct reports smart and motivating objectives to support development and progression
  • Managing resource needs and taking a lead role in recruitment

Client Focus

The Business and Contract Performance Director will build strong, influential senior client relationships and set the benchmark for Goodstuff's gold-standard client servicing principles. They will deliver the client roadmap by managing and reacting to challenge and change, and facilitate focused and productive client meetings with clear outcomes.

Key areas of focus include:

  • Providing expertise and objective strategic advice
  • Making informed decisions when resolving client issues
  • Developing proactive ideas and initiatives
  • Managing client contracts, scope of work, and PRF frameworks ensuring all contractual commitments are being delivered against

Culture and Leadership

The Business and Contract Performance Director will lead from the front, role modelling Goodstuff values and inspiring a culture of continuous learning and development to support growth and progression. They will discover and develop a personal 'And Some' and champion a culture of innovation and creativity.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have experience operating at Business Director level across a multitude of disciplines, with exceptional omnichannel capabilities across online and offline media. They will have exceptional knowledge across brand and performance disciplines, with the ideal candidate having full funnel experience.
