About the Role

This role is to deliver assigned projects on behalf of the company and support the New Technologies sales team in winning projects. The majority of time will be spent supporting the ongoing development of Green Technologies at Clarke Energy. This includes green gases to conventional ICE business, BESS, Gas to Grid, Hydrogen production, Heat Pumps, and hybrid grids interacting with solar/wind installations.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Identify and meet with prospective and existing customers, developers, and specifiers to develop identified opportunities.
  2. Liaise with external and internal sales teams in proposing technical solutions.
  3. Present technical and commercial proposals to stakeholders.
  4. Produce feasibility and investment-grade audit documents.
  5. Support sales, business development, and proposals teams across other Clarke Energy territories as required.
  6. Undertake specific project/opportunity/technology assessments as required by the business and report back on viability.
  7. Interface with marketing and engineering functions to develop opportunities and propose solutions to potential customers.
  8. Engage with projects and service departments to determine delivery, installation, and on-going support requirements of new opportunities/technologies.
Requirements
  • Degree in Engineering (or similar technical subject) from a recognised institution.
  • Good understanding of both electrical and mechanical engineering principles.
  • Good understanding of power generation technologies, project development, and net zero carbon.
  • Working knowledge of territory-specific regulation, technical requirements, and standards relating to generation equipment.
  • Good IT skills – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Project.

This is a full-time permanent position, based in our head office in Liverpool with the option of home working. The working hours are Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours.
