Application Support Analyst - Linux

We are seeking a highly skilled Application Support Analyst to join our team at Opus Recruitment Solutions Ltd. As a key member of our Platform team, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to our customers, installers, and customer service team.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Investigate and resolve defects raised by our Customer Service and Operations team.
  2. Log defects in JIRA and work closely with our development team to inform them of any bugs that need to be fixed.
  3. Provide support to our Customer Service and Operations team on the platform.
  4. Communicate with our Field Engineers if they are experiencing issues with the app.
  5. Generate and report weekly reports on the status of defects & support requests.
  6. Contribute to Test Strategies with the QA team.

Requirements:

  1. Solid experience using JIRA.
  2. Experience/knowledge across functional test phases.
  3. Ability to work as part of a team or as an individual.
  4. Understanding of testing methodologies in an Agile team.
  5. Experience in testing mobile devices/applications (iOS & Android).
  6. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Desirable Skills:

  1. Understanding of Agile methodologies in software development.
  2. Experience in cross-browser/environment testing.
  3. Knowledge of AWS & Heroku.
  4. Experience with Ruby and Postgres SQL.
  5. Proven previous experience in testing web applications and/or Back Office systems.
