Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Clinical/Counselling/Forensic Psychologist or Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist to join our multidisciplinary team, providing specialist psychological assessment and interventions to clients with complex mental health needs. This role involves working within the Psychological Therapies pathway and Complex Emotional Needs (CEN) pathway, developing and implementing evidence-based interventions in line with NICE guidance.

The successful candidate will possess excellent clinical skills, a passion for working with people across the lifespan, and commitment to recovery principles. They will also have strong interpersonal and time management skills, and be able to work autonomously within professional guidelines and the overall framework of the team's policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
This role involves:
  • Providing specialist psychological assessment and interventions to clients with complex mental health needs.
  • Developing and implementing evidence-based interventions in line with NICE guidance.
  • Working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.

Requirements
  • Qualification in Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapy from a BABCP accredited training course OR Post-graduate training in clinical / counselling / forensic psychology (or its equivalent prior to 1996) as accredited by the BPS.
  • Knowledge, training, and experience in NICE guidance recommended interventions for treating mental health difficulties.
  • Demonstrate further specialist training/experience working as a specialist clinical psychologist within the NHS.

Salary Information
The salary for this position is £46,148 - £60,504 per annum, pro rata.
