About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Counsellor to provide confidential support to our students and apprentices in Scunthorpe, Lincolnshire.
As a College Counsellor, you will play a vital role in promoting mental health and wellbeing among our students. Your expertise will help them overcome academic, social, and emotional challenges, enabling them to reach their full potential.
- Individual Counselling: Provide one-on-one sessions addressing concerns related to academic, social, and emotional well-being.
- Crisis Intervention: Respond promptly to urgent situations and offer immediate support.
- Well-being Promotion: Organize workshops, events, and awareness campaigns focused on mental health and wellbeing.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A relevant qualification in counselling, psychology, or a related field.
- Previous experience in counselling or mental health support.
- The ability to build trust and establish strong relationships with students.
