Job Description

Main Purpose of the Role

The Digital Media Director will be a key member of the Digital Activation Team, responsible for planning and delivering Digital Media activities to drive audience growth and engagement. This role will work closely with external agencies, internal teams, and European hubs to develop and execute digital acquisition strategies.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy and Planning
  • Develop and implement digital media strategies to drive audience activation and engagement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute digital campaigns.
  • Manage display ads, social media, retargeting activity, and other digital channels.
Delivery
  • Execute the delivery of digital campaigns to drive acquisitions and engagement.
  • Develop and implement reporting and measurement frameworks to track campaign performance.
Campaigns
  • Develop and execute primary digital acquisition campaigns to drive audience growth.
  • Ensure all campaigns are well-planned, executed, and optimized for maximum impact.
Collaboration
  • Work closely with internal teams, external agencies, and European hubs to deliver digital media activities.
  • Collaborate with global teams to deploy digital assets and share learnings.
People & Project Management
  • Manage and own UK participation in key global and local initiatives.
  • Facilitate effective cross-functional teamwork and encourage involvement and initiative.
  • Coordinate and own internal and external data privacy processes.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • At least 6 years of experience working in marketing or digital media agencies and/or client-side digital experience with a focus on acquisition/direct response.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of digital transformation, digital innovation, and digital delivery.
  • Understanding of digital project management, digital account management, digital strategy, digital media planning & buying, digital creative, digital insight, and business analysis.
  • Ability to work and enhance the overall digital approach in partnership with digital media agencies.
