School Catering Role Overview
We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic School Catering Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our catering staff, you will be responsible for assisting with the preparation, serving, and cleaning of meals for students. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring high-quality food service delivery while maintaining strict health and safety standards.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Meal Service: Assist with meal preparation, setup, and service to students in line with food hygiene regulations.
  • Cleanliness: Clean kitchen equipment and dining furniture as required in designated areas.
  • Dining Arrangements: Assist with moving and setting up dining furniture in designated areas.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with health and safety, food hygiene, and COSHH regulations at all times.
  • Additional Duties: Undertake duties considered appropriate by the School Catering Manager to meet the needs of the service.

  • Catering Experience: Some previous kitchen/catering/cafe experience is ideal.
