We are seeking a skilled Solicitor to join our team at Beaumont Associates Ltd and contribute to the growth of our Rural Business practice.

About the Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for a 2 – 5 years PQE Solicitor to join our Inverness office and work on a wide range of rural property cases.

You will have the chance to work on various rural property matters, including:

  • Purchase and sale of estates, farms, forestry, and other rural land.
  • Crofting – transaction work and general crofting law advice in both contentious and non-contentious situations.
  • Providing advice to landowners on rural development, including residential, renewables, natural capital, telecommunications, and quarrying.
  • Ongoing management legal advice to estates and rural businesses of all sizes.
  • Advising on matters relating to agricultural holdings, including creation, termination, and variation of tenancies.
  • Purchase, sale, letting, and management of sporting interests.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Qualification as a Solicitor with 2-5 years post-qualification experience.
  • A genuine interest and enthusiasm for the rural sector and rural property work.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
  • An interest in technical law and the ability to interpret legislation.
