Senior CRM Manager Fixed Term Contract

This is a 12-month fixed-term contract for a UK-based utility company that prioritizes hybrid working options with an office in central London. We're committed to attracting top talent and fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.

About the Role

As a Senior CRM Manager, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of our CRM strategy, with a focus on Braze. This includes owning and optimizing data feeds, re-contracting forecasting, platform functionality, and usage. You will also lead on CRM Ops best practice, data strategy, and platform strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive CRM strategy, with a focus on Braze
  • Own and optimize data feeds, re-contracting forecasting, platform functionality, and usage
  • Lead on CRM Ops best practice, data strategy, and platform strategy
  • Collaborate with the CRM Leads to design and build automation programs and ad-hoc campaigns in the marketing automation platform
  • Work closely with the Marketing team to shape campaigns and comms agendas, Product teams to ensure journey consistency, and Data and Creative teams to execute
  • Serve as a CRM Ops specialist in the Marketing Team and mentor the extended Partner Marketing team on tool democratisation
Requirements
  • Significant experience using a major CRM solution, ideally Braze
  • Very good knowledge of at least one scripting language (ideally Liquid) and ability to solve coding challenges
  • Basic knowledge of HTML & CSS coding for email comms
  • Good understanding of data flows and data infrastructure, including working with data arrays/nested objects and json-formatted data
  • Experience using APIs/real-time events data to retrieve information and use in segmentation or personalisation
  • Very good knowledge of testing and quality assurance processes and technologies
  • Previous user of Braze and data integration
  • Previous use of Postman for Braze testing and JSON coding
  • Knowledge of wider utilities/financial service/consumer issues and products
  • Recent experience of working in a Financial Services / Utilities company
  • Ability to conduct full QA on email or similar, including copy review, render checking, customer journey scenario testing, etc.
  • Good SQL skills for data validation and QA
  • Experience with various data transfer and configuration file formats such as CSV, JSON, XML
  • Experience working in an agile development environment, using project tracking software
  • Awareness of data security and privacy requirements
  • An understanding of the risks posed to customers when buying subscription-based or financial products and how to mitigate them
