About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our Private Client division as a Partner managing your own book of business. This is an outstanding opportunity to accelerate your career and build your professional network.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with high-net-worth clients, including racehorse trainers and stud farm owners.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in accordance with our ideal client profile.
  • Process risks on our systems, prepare and check policy documentation, and invite renewals.
  • Produce invoices and assist with the collection of premiums.
  • Liaise with insurers, surveyors, loss adjustors, and other stakeholders on all relevant issues.
  • Assist other team members in resolving client queries.
  • Act in a compliant manner and adhere to our procedures.
  • Collaborate with our team in a friendly, positive, and cooperative manner.
Requirements
  • Extensive knowledge of the insurance sector, with experience managing your own portfolio of clients.
  • Exposure to high-net-worth clients and Farm and Estate insurance.
  • Excellent understanding of the broker environment and broker relationships.
  • Strong negotiation skills, with the ability to work accurately and consistently.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Awareness and understanding of compliance rules, including FCA regulation.
