You are a seasoned IT professional seeking a new challenge in managing the technical infrastructure of a growing company based in Oxfordshire.

About the Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled individual to lead our IT team and drive the implementation of innovative technologies.

The ideal candidate will have a broad technical background, covering Network, Desktop & Server support, as well as experience in Cybersecurity.

Responsibilities include designing and implementing robust IT systems to support business growth, providing expert guidance on Cybersecurity measures, and working with a Windows/Microsoft-based environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and maintain the company's IT infrastructure, including Networks, Desktops, and Servers.
  • Implement and enforce robust cybersecurity measures to protect the company's data and systems.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to remote access users, including Single Sign-On.
  • Develop and implement IT projects, providing evidence and justification as needed.
  • Work closely with the leadership team to propose and implement IT solutions.
Requirements:
  • Broad technical background covering Network, Desktop & Server support.
  • Experience in Cybersecurity.
  • Used to supporting remote access users with Single Sign-On.
  • General background in supporting a Windows/Microsoft-based environment.
Nice to Have:
  • Linux Server support.
  • Prior experience as the sole IT employee.
  • Previous experience of working for a small/medium size company and having IT budget responsibility.
  • Used to engaging with a company's leadership team and proposing IT projects/expenditures.
  • Providing evidence/justification for the projects.
  • Previous experience in providing IT support to an R&D department or manufacturing facility ERP/MRP systems etc.
What We Offer:

A competitive salary of £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience.

This is initially viewed as a hybrid role with 2 days a week in the office.
