This exciting opportunity provides an excellent chance to build upon your leadership skills, gain a broader understanding of management, and contribute to the delivery of compassionate excellence in patient care. As a key member of the ward team, you will be responsible for managing the team, including appraisal, mentorship, and education, as well as identifying development needs.
We are seeking an experienced children's nurse with the right qualifications, experience, and expertise to take on this challenging and rewarding role. In return, you can expect a competitive salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package.
The Children's Day Care Ward is a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same. We provide care to children and young people who require both surgical and medical day case procedures, managing a wide range of general and speciality clinics. With regular opportunities to cover additional weekend lists, you will have the flexibility to manage your workload effectively.
We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality care to our patients and their families. Our values of compassion, respect, learning, delivery, improvement, and excellence underpin everything we do.
