CQC Outstanding Rated Nursing Role

We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Turning Point UK. As a Recovery Nurse or Non-Medical Prescriber (NMP), you will work with a multi-disciplinary team to deliver high-quality care and treatment to service users.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in nursing and a passion for working with vulnerable populations. Key responsibilities will include:
- Prescribing medication for service users receiving opiate substitute therapy.
- Managing community alcohol detoxifications.
- Leading a multi-disciplinary meeting with the Recovery Workers within your team.
Requirements:
- Registered with the Nursing & Midwifery Council or a qualified Non-Medical Prescriber Nurse (NMP).
- Confident in managing prescribing for opiates and managing alcohol detoxifications.
Salary and Benefits:
- £42,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience.
- 25 days' paid holiday a year + Bank Holidays, increasing with each year of service up to 27 days + Bank Holidays.
No direct experience of substance use is required, but an ability to demonstrate providing effective health interventions would be advantageous.
