Clinical Psychologist Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Clinical Psychologist Assistant to join our Learning Disability Intensive Support Service (LDISS) team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide psychological assessment, intervention, research, and evaluation services to individuals with Learning Disabilities.
Main Duties- Under the supervision of a qualified Clinical Psychologist, provide psychological assessments and interventions to individuals with Learning Disabilities.
- Assist in the formulation and delivery of care plans, including the psychological treatment and management of service users' problems.
- Contribute to the planning, coordination, and running of therapeutic groups.
- Work with other staff to assess service users and review their care in preparation for multi-disciplinary reviews.
- Maintain accurate records in line with Trust policies and professional guidelines.
- Entitlement to graduate membership of the British Psychological Society (BPS).
- Strong listening skills, empathic towards people in distress, and those with a variety of communication needs.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
