Clinical Psychologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our Learning Disability Service in Gloucestershire. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in promoting the psychological health and well-being of individuals with a learning disability.
Key Responsibilities- Provide highly specialist psychological assessment and intervention services to individuals, groups, and organizations using a variety of applied psychology models.
- Provide clinical supervision to Psychology Assistants and Trainee Psychologists, as well as placements and supervision to Doctoral Clinical Psychology trainees and other psychological practitioners in training.
- Participate in relevant research and audit activity, utilizing research skills for audit, policy, and service development.
- Deliver clinical services within the service area covered by the community team and wider LD Psychology service.
To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate a strong commitment to person-centred service delivery, supporting the application of Positive Behavioural Support through a trauma-informed lens. You will also need to possess good relational skills, leadership qualities, and the ability to maintain a positive approach in work.
