About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality psychological services to older adults, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver person-centered care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop evidence-based treatment plans for older adults with complex mental health needs.
  • Provide specialist therapeutic interventions, including neuropsychological assessments and formulation-driven therapies.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement service improvements, ensuring seamless care pathways for patients.
  • Participate in clinical supervision, peer review, and quality assurance activities to maintain high standards of practice.
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of training programs, ensuring staff are equipped to provide excellent care.
Requirements
  • Registered Practitioner Psychologist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Postgraduate doctoral-level training in Clinical Psychology or equivalent Applied Psychology qualification.
  • At least 25 hours of clinical supervision while working at a highly specialist level in a directly relevant area.
  • Experience of conducting appraisals and monitoring performance of staff.
