Job Title: Clinical Psychologist - Learning Disability Service

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our Learning Disability Service in Gloucestershire. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will be responsible for promoting the psychological health and well-being of individuals with a Learning Disability referred to our Community Learning Disabilities Teams.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide highly specialist psychological assessment and intervention services to individuals, groups, and organizations.
  • Deliver clinical supervision to Psychology Assistants and Trainee Psychologists.
  • Participate in research and audit activities to improve and develop practice.
  • Provide clinical services within the service area covered by the community team and wider LD Psychology service.

Requirements:
  • Registered as a Practitioner Psychologist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Chartered status with the British Psychological Society (BPS).
  • Postgraduate doctoral level training in Clinical Psychology or an equivalent Applied Psychology qualification.
Desirable:
  • Receipt of at least 25 hours of clinical supervision while working at a highly specialist level in a directly relevant area.
Salary:

£43,742 to £57,349 per annum pro rata. Will consider development from Band 7 to 8a.
