About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Clinical Psychologist Assistant to join our team at Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will work closely with our experienced Clinical Psychologists to provide psychological assessment, intervention, research, and evaluation services to individuals with Learning Disabilities.

Main Responsibilities
  • Assist in clinically related administration, conduct of audits, collection of statistics, and development of audit and/or research projects, teaching, and project work.
  • Provide clinical services within the service area covered by the Learning Disability Intensive Support Service.
  • Service delivered in a wide range of settings and locations, including service user's homes, residential/day care services, hospital settings, and the community.
Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Entitlement to graduate membership of the British Psychological Society (BPS).
  • Ability to undertake all statutory and mandatory training, including Positive Behavioural Management (PBM), subject to Occupational Health clearance.
