The company has an exciting new opportunity for a Senior Recovery Coordinator who will lead on planning and embedding a diverse programme of ongoing activities for our residents to promote their physical, emotional and social wellbeing.

About the Role:

This role will involve managing a team of Recovery Coordinators and working closely with the Senior Leadership Team and wider support teams throughout our Units to ensure the activity programmes are planned, resourced and delivered as required.

The ideal candidate will have experience in managing or supervising a team, previous experience of managing activities and/or events, an in-depth understanding and experience of dealing with people who have enduring mental health conditions, passion and enthusiasm to drive the activities to ensure successful outcomes for our residents, excellent planning and organisational skills, good written and verbal communication, intermediate IT skills including Word and Excel, willingness to travel between services as required to deliver activities, and a car driver's licence would be preferable (mileage expenses will be paid).

Responsibilities:

  • Managing a team of Recovery Coordinators and working closely with the Senior Leadership Team and wider support teams throughout our Units to ensure the activity programmes are planned, resourced and delivered as required.
  • Activities may include workshops, creative arts, therapeutic intervention, social events, always focusing on recovery - whether it be mental health or drugs and alcohol related.
  • Promote community partnerships in order to broaden the activities offered.
  • Work with the wider Dinardo Management team in creating and implementing a Resident Involvement Strategy.
  • Manage a budget and allocate funds to activities, ensuring cost-effective use of resources without compromising the quality of the programs.
  • Seeking feedback from residents, team members and other stakeholders to assess the effectiveness and outcomes achieved from the activities. Use feedback to continually improve the activity programs.
  • Compile and distribute a monthly newsletter.
  • Evaluate that activities comply with health and safety regulation/legislation and conduct activity risk assessments as required.
  • Ensure adherence to Dinardos Health and Safety and Safeguarding policies and identify/report any concerns.
  • Work on a rota basis with the teams so that activities are not restricted to certain days and are available at weekends as well as weekdays.

Salary Information:

The salary range for this role is £30,000-£36,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits.

Key Qualifications:

  • Experience of managing or supervising a team.
  • Previous experience of managing activities and/or events.
  • An in-depth understanding and experience of dealing with people who have enduring mental health conditions.
  • Possession of a car driver's license and a willingness to travel.
