Excelcare Holdings is seeking a dedicated and experienced Recovery Manager to lead our mental health programmes and support the well-being of our residents.

About the Role:

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning, embedding and delivering a diverse programme of activities to promote the physical, emotional and social well-being of our residents.

Key responsibilities will include managing a team of Recovery Coordinators, working closely with the Senior Leadership Team and wider support teams to ensure the activity programme is planned, resourced and delivered as required.

Activities may include workshops, creative arts, therapeutic intervention, social events and always the primary focus is on recovery - whether it be mental health or drugs and alcohol related.

Requirements:

  • Experience of managing or supervising a team
  • Previous experience of managing activities and/or events
  • An in-depth understanding and experience of dealing with people who have enduring mental health conditions
  • Passion and enthusiasm to drive the activities to ensure successful outcomes for our residents
  • Experience working in a supported Housing service/s
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills
  • Good written and verbal communication
  • Intermediate IT skills including Word and Excel
  • Willingness to travel between services as required to deliver activities
