Job Title: Vaping Prevention Specialist

Location: Northampton

We are seeking a skilled Vaping Prevention Specialist to join our team at Recovery Focus. As a Vaping Prevention Specialist, you will play a crucial role in developing and delivering a vaping prevention program for young people in Northamptonshire.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver accredited training to education professionals on vaping prevention
  • Run interactive workshops with young people to raise awareness of substance-related harm
  • Deliver face-to-face and virtual awareness sessions with parents/carers
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the ongoing improvement and success of the program

Requirements:

  • Professional qualification in health/social/youth and community care or experience in the addictions field
  • Commitment to complete NVQ Level 3 Health and Social Care or equivalent
  • Proven experience of liaising with voluntary and statutory agencies and working with health professionals
  • Ability to engage effectively with clients and work with cognitive behavioural interventions

Working Hours: 37 hours per week
