Job Title: Complex Needs Practitioner - Vaping Prevention

Job Type: Permanent, Full-time

Location: Northampton

We are seeking an experienced and passionate professional to join our team as a Complex Needs Practitioner - Vaping Prevention. As a key member of our specialist youth support service, you will play a crucial role in delivering early intervention and structured treatment to young people in Northamptonshire.

About the Role:

  • Develop and deliver a vaping prevention programme for schools, colleges, and education providers.
  • Deliver accredited training to education professionals, run interactive workshops with young people, and provide face-to-face and virtual awareness sessions with parents/carers.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the ongoing improvement and success of the programme.
  • Work with health professionals, voluntary and statutory agencies, and engage effectively with clients.
  • Utilize cognitive behavioural interventions and the Model of Change framework in your work.

Requirements:

  • Professional qualification in health, social, or youth and community care, or experience in the addictions field.
  • Commitment to complete NVQ Level 3 Health and Social Care or equivalent.
  • Proven experience of liaising with voluntary and statutory agencies and working with health professionals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
