A rewarding opportunity exists for a highly motivated and organized professional to join our team as a Senior Housing Income Recovery Specialist.

This is a full-time position, working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday with attractive/flexible hybrid working.

The salary for this role is £14.32 per hour, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the recovery of debts including housing income, overpaid housing benefit, and sundry debts by effectively communicating with customers and establishing payment agreements.
  • Take proactive recovery action where arrangements fail, ensuring timely and correct information is gathered to support the court process.
  • Handle incoming calls and conduct general debt management work, including some outbound calling.
Desirable Skills:
  • Experience in benefits systems and knowledge of Northgate system would be advantageous.
  • Housing knowledge and any local government experience would be an added bonus.
