Financial Operations Specialist
:Graduate Hotels is seeking an experienced Financial Operations Specialist to join our team in hotel accounting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management and a proven track record of overseeing daily financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
:- Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger accounting in conjunction with the Financial Controller.
- Implement financial policies and procedures to maintain financial control and ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for hotel management and ownership.
- Collaborate with the Financial Controller and management team to prepare the annual budget and financial forecasts.
- Monitor budget performance and provide regular updates to department heads and management.
- Maintain internal control procedures to safeguard hotel assets and ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
- Conduct regular financial audits to identify and rectify discrepancies or irregularities.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal tax regulations and coordinate with external auditors for tax filings.
- Review invoices and contracts for accuracy and compliance with hotel policies.
Education, Skills & Experience
:- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant professional certification is a plus.
- 3+ years of hotel accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software and financial management tools.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Good knowledge of financial regulations and accounting standards.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
