Senior Leadership Opportunity:

We seek an accomplished professional to drive our waste management strategy and oversee radiation protection initiatives at UK nuclear sites.

  • Project Delivery: Responsible for delivering comprehensive waste management and radiation protection services, prioritising client satisfaction.
  • Business Growth: Collaborates with the Westinghouse Global Sales team to develop business opportunities in the waste management sector, fostering long-term growth.
  • Expertise: Provides critical technical input to the SMART Project, engaging with stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Team Excellence: Oversees the UK Waste Management Team, focusing on continuous improvement, talent development, and operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
  • Strategy Development: Formulates and implements strategies to drive growth, innovation, and customer satisfaction.
  • Resource Allocation: Effectively allocates resources to meet strategic objectives, ensuring optimal use of personnel, budget, and technology.
  • Talent Development: Identifies, develops, and empowers high-performing team members, promoting a culture of collaboration and excellence.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Builds and maintains strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, partners, and regulatory bodies.

  • Leadership Expertise: Proven track record of leading high-performing teams, driving business growth, and delivering exceptional results.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and build consensus among diverse stakeholders.
  • Nuclear Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the nuclear industry, its challenges, and emerging trends, with a keen eye for innovation and disruption.
Location and Compensation:

This role can be based at either our Westlakes Science Park in Cumbria or our Springfields site near Preston.

Estimated Annual Salary: £110,000 - £140,000, commensurate with experience.
