Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Support Services Coordinator to join our Domestic Services department at University Hospital Wishaw.

This permanent part-time position involves providing domestic service to patients, staff, and visitors through effective and efficient methods. You will work alongside and support new staff in the working environment.

Salary

The salary for this role is £[insert salary here] per annum, paid pro-rata for the part-time hours worked (19.8 hours).

Key Responsibilities
  • Knowledge of cleaning standards and related procedures.
  • Required to undertake on-the-job training and induction to achieve full competency across a range of duties.
  • Undertake NHS Lanarkshire compulsory training and mandatory Health Care Support Workers (HCSW) standards.
  • Undertake and complete the NHSS Domestic Services Workbook.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work with people and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Ability to carry out assigned tasks effectively and efficiently in a busy environment.
  • Working knowledge of basic information technology.
