Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Domestic Services Assistant to join our team at University Hospital Ayr. As a key member of our support staff, you will play a vital role in maintaining a safe and clean environment for our patients and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide a wide range of domestic services to support clinical services throughout Ayrshire and Arran, adhering to NHS Scotland National Cleaning Services Specification and Healthcare Environment Inspectorate Standards.
- Undertake departmental job training, including the operation of equipment and safe use of cleaning materials, to ensure flexibility within all areas of domestic services.
Requirements:
Experience with industrial cleaning equipment or working within a healthcare setting is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided. You will require good communication skills, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and clean environment.
Working Hours:
Post 1: 7.89 hours, working Saturday-Sunday 08:00-14:26
Post 2: 14.80 hours, working Monday-Thursday 16:00-19:00, Friday 08:00-10:48
