About This Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Ergonomics Specialist to join our team in Broughton. As an essential member of our manufacturing engineering department, you will play a key role in optimising human working conditions and system performance.

The successful candidate will have a degree in Ergonomics or Human Factors and be accredited by the Chartered Institute of Ergonomics and Human Factors (CIEHF). You will also have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate Assembly/Installation activities for ergonomics risk factors
  • Develop recommendations to address these risks
  • Support the development of ergonomics action plans aligned with our industrial strategy
  • Collaborate with suppliers to ensure ergonomic considerations are integrated into new tools and processes
  • Implement solutions to reduce risk and hazards using technical, organisational, and training approaches
  • Maintain knowledge of international regulatory and scientific developments
  • Communicate effectively with local Health and Safety representatives

Requirements

  • Degree-level education in Ergonomics/Human Factors from an accredited CIEHF body
  • Registered Membership of the CIEHF or equivalent

What We Offer

This is a 12-month contract with the possibility of extension. The salary is negotiable but we estimate it to be around £50,000 - £65,000 per annum based on industry standards.
